Resources
Below you will find a list of resources for pregnant and parenting families in the Rhode Island community. As an Organization, we take referrals seriously and only add local groups or practitioners that we have direct experience with. We are sure there are many wonderful local supports that we simply don’t know about or haven’t had experience with. If you’ve worked with someone that your family has loved, please let us know!
Also included are additional resources and links to organizations and evidence-based / science-based articles on topics that families frequently have interest in. These resources are not comprehensive, nor should they be considered medical recommendations. They are provided to help your family explore what kind of birth setting, practitioner, birth goals, medical recommendations and postpartum/parenting tools will best support you. We encourage you to use them to support conversations with birth support, and to explore what is important to YOU. To learn more about making informed choices that support your family’s values, consider taking our Informed Choices workshop.
