Practicing Community Care

Community Care

I think it is healing behavior, to look at something so broken and see the possibility and wholeness in it.

Liberated relationships are one of the ways we actually create abundant justice, the understanding that there is enough attention, care, resource, and connection for all of us to access belonging, to be in our dignity, and to be safe in community.

Support Our Community

Today the attacks on families’ rights in Rhode Island and throughout the country and world have grown extreme and devastating (and there was already a long history of injustice and inequality to transform). It feels overwhelming. And yet, we are not powerless — it is only our collective action that bends the arc toward justice and humanity.

We invite, no, urge, you to join in actions that support families within your own local and global community – especially those facing the most severe loss of rights and safety.*

*Don’t understand or agree with what we choose to support? Have concerns or questions? Reach out and let’s talk! Let’s practice finding a way to hear and care for one another moment by moment. There may well be nothing harder, and also nothing more important.
